LG Display is committed to enriching the lives of humanity and contributing to a sustainable society. To this end, we establish and implement the following Safety, Health, Environment, and Energy Policy
1. We recognize safety, health, environment, and energy management as core elements of our business operations and ensure full compliance with applicable domestic and international laws, regulations, and stakeholder requirements.
2. For objective management, we establish clear priorities and action plans based on measurable objectives, implement them, and continuously improve our management systems.
3. We provide essential health and safety information to employees and stakeholders and proactively identify and address risks and hazards on an ongoing basis, while ensuring continual improvement.
4. We promote a proactive safety culture in which all members voluntarily participate and support the health and well-being of our employees.
5. We minimize environmental impacts across the entire product lifecycle from design and production to use and disposal and contribute to resource circulation and biodiversity conservation.
6. We optimize energy efficiency and expand the use of renewable energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and actively respond to climate change.
7. We fulfill our social responsibilities by supporting the sustainable development of our contractors and local communities, and by building mutual trust with them.
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and stakeholders across LG Display’s global operations, and is reviewed and approved annually by the Board of Directors.
